Mr. Hollis is a serial deal-maker, whose business acumen cuts across the spectrum of both for-profit and non-profit enterprises. His background includes an extensive career as a banker, entrepreneur, financial advisor to Fortune 500 corporations.

Mr. Hollis serves as Slater Infrastructure Group’s, Senior Advisor on Business Development. Mr. Hollis also serves as Chief Executive Officer of his flagship company, J.H. Hollis & Company, LLC, an Atlanta-based financial advisory and investment firm, Hollis & Company has emerged as a pivotal strategic deal facilitator for transactional related business opportunities both in the United States and abroad. Over three decades, Hollis & Company’s clients have included among others: AECOM, AGL Resources, Inc; AT&T, Inc; the Bechtel Group; The Cheese Factory Restaurants, Inc; The Coca Cola Company; Georgia-Pacific Corporation; JP Morgan Chase; Lennar Corporation; Northrop Grumman; Pratt Whitney; URS; The Southern Company; Veolia Water N.A., as well as public sector clients such as the Governments of Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and South Africa; Mr. Hollis played a pivotal role in developing the strategy for AECOM in its selection as Program Managers of both a $1 billion FEMA disaster recovery relief program with the Government of U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as a $2 billion Storm Water Project for the City of Charleston, South Carolina; Mr. Hollis is also the co-founder of Urban Environmental Solutions, LLC. Under Mr. Hollis’ guidance, a consortium was formed by AECOM, which included Siemens, Urban Environmental Solutions and others, which completed the design-build of the $100 million, Atlanta Street Car Project. Additionally, Mr. Hollis was founder and former Chairman of the Board of Directors for Nevis Securities, LLC, a licensed investment banking company co-owned in a partnership with JP Morgan Chase. From 2003 through 2006, Nevis Securities served as Senior Manager and/or Co-Manager on transactional-related assignments in excess of $8 billion. All ownership interests in Nevis Securities were sold in early 2007.

Mr. Hollis is also Managing Partner of Synergy Beverage Solutions, LLC, (www.synergycrispcounty.com), a state-of-the art technologically advanced energy renewable company that remanufactures liquid waste into gasoline-graded ethanol in Cordell, Georgia.

Mr. Hollis is a member of The Business Advisory Council of the African-American Mayors Association and has been featured in numerous national media outlets including CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, The Huffington Post, and others including a NETFLIX sponsored documentary entitled “The Black Godfather”.
